Saucer fungi

Observed: 26th September 2013 By: Steve_VSteve_V’s reputation in Fungi and LichensSteve_V’s reputation in Fungi and Lichens

Small troop of reflexed fungi under pine trees in thin grass on sandy acid soil. Moderate light. Note dark brown stem, no ring, contrasting with light pink/beige gills and cinnamon cap - I suspect this started out darker brown. Cap about 2cms across. Ideas?

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
