Description:

Electricity substations often have moderately interesting plants (often Chaenorhinum minus, but my only record of Cerastium diffusum came from one) so I check them out when I pass them.
In this case the interesting plant was set to far back for visual identification, and the photograph hasn't come out to well (I'll put the blame on fading light), but it looks as if it may be Cyperus eragrostis - at least no alternative ID comes to mind.
