Grouping of grey green fungi at base of dying tree

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Any idea tree? Looks like pine from bark and needles but I'm not expert on trees!
Also size cap and stipe (stem)?

Tree fungus

Pine tree. cap varied up to 4cm across. Stem short -3 cm. Older specimens turning grey

Could be Hypholoma but don't

Could be Hypholoma but don't know which. Can you get spore print and photo gills? I don't recomend tasting but H. fasciculare has bitter taste whereas H.caponoides has mild taste according to Collins, Steery and Hughes.
Sulpur tuft H. fasciulare seems to be quite variable in colour which doesn't help with id'ing!
