I agree that the left picture looks like an S. meridionale pair but the 2nd picture looks like a different individual. It also looks like a Ruddy Darter (S. sanguineum), though the angle isn't great for the most distinguishing feature, the legs.
#2 shows the noticeably clubbed abdomen of S. sanguineum and, zooming into the original image, I fancy the legs look black through the wings. (S. meridionale has largely yellow legs.)
#2 also has a small but noticeable yellow patch at the base of the hind-wings which S. meridionale lacks. S. meridionale normally lacks the black marks above the abdomen tip, too.
In general, it's best to separate individual pictures unless you are quite certain they are of the same individual.
