Dame's-violet

I'm pretty sure it's this - I grow it in my garden because it's really good for butterflies especially Orange-tip which will use it to lay its eggs (single tiny orange eggs just below the flowers). It comes in a variety of colours from white through pink to purple, so it looks very attractive as well.
