Any idea of trees near to this? Did you notice any staining when pores bruised? What did cap feel like?

Hi thanks for your response. I have uploaded a photo of it cut in half if that helps.

There are a fair few of them and they are on my lawn, around 5m from a mature birch tree.

I pushed my finger into the pores and it has gone a blue/green/grey colour.

The cap is slightly shiny and quite soft to the touch.
