Description:

Think this is a Veneer variety of moth but due to some obvious scale loss its a tricky one. Looks like it was predominantly gold coloured as has a godl metalic sheen.

Hi Rob,

C. perlella doesn't have the strongly curved costa and the acutely pointed apex to the forewings. It would also show some of the longitudinal striping. Hopefully an expert will come along and put us out of our misery.
