Certainly a Russula

But was it growing under pines? It should have a non-mushroomy smell.
If under Beech, possibly Beechwood Sickener R. nobilis/mairei.

Ash, but some Oak. I don't recall any Beech nearby. Unfortunately I cannot revisit soon.
