Description:

Large collection of overlapping brackets. Hard to say how big as I could not get more than around 7 metres to it as It's in one of the wild animal enclosures. I would estimate the whole group was around 50-60cm across with each bracket around 10-15cm.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Thanks for this, I've looked up Meripilus giganteus and I think you're right.

I was concerned that it appeared larger than Turkeytail was supposed to grow.
