Butterfly bush Greek-style

Originally likely to have been planted in gardens and parks, but spreads readily. I have read that the leaves and green berries are poisonous, but that jams and jellies are made from the ripe black berries in Ecuador. However, we picked a few and they are mostly pip and skin. Luscious to birds, however, which is how they are dispersed. The flowers attract insects, especially butterflies.
