Description:

Large areas of the woodland floor have these mushrooms pushing up through the leaf litter.
They start brown and quickly become black and funnel shaped. They are now very hard but with brittle gills.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
