A rose by any other name ? (added via Android)

Description:

two apparently isolated "colonies" about 50m apart in the hedgerow. appears to be a malformed rose flower. perhaps a gall of some sort.
no other similar examples found within 100m either side of these hence unusual discovery.

It's caused by a Gall Wasp

So moving it to the "Invertebrates" category would put it where it ought to be.
