Looks like Blushing Bracket but never seen one with numerous smaller brackets arranged like this.

Because on willow I think you are correct. Did the pores stain 'wine red' on bruising? this is good identifier this species

No. Bruised grey-brown. Since I posted this obs I've found several other examples of it in this wood. Always smaller than D. confragosa, in more complex tiers, less distinctly coloured, more broadly attached and occasionally partly resupinate. So starting to think this is probably not Blushing Bracket. But what it is is proving elusive. But thanks for the tip, much appreciated. Paul
