Notes: Sterling, Parsons & Lewington (2012) describe this micro moth as - Common, forewing dark brown, variably speckled white, with dark cross-bands and whitish spots on the costa, one at about one-third and another at two-thirds which is usually extended, forming a fine line to the tornus. April to November. Flies by day, is frequently seen in numbers over the foodplant, and rests on flowers such as Common Ragwort. Habitat - Rough ground, hedgerows, woodland margins and rides, gardens.
