You would necessarily know,

You would necessarily know, as all indications have disappeared, but this was posted in 'Invertebrates' so the ID wanted would (I assume) be the bee.

I am replying to myself, as the facility to create a new comment has disappeared as well.

Thanks Mydaea, yes seems people think I'm after the plant despite me putting title bee feeding on water mint ans as you said it is posted in invertebrate section. I think this might actually be the ssp Bombus lapidarius caucasicus as it has the white on the head.

Not after plant, I know its water mint, after Bee species!

This was put in invert section so after the bee not the plant (water mint).

Think the bee might be Spp. Bombus lapidarius caucasicus

It is the British Bombus

It is the British Bombus lapidarius. Bombus lapidarius caucasicus lives in Turkey to Iran. This is a perfectly ordinary, if faded, British male.
