Description:

Long tailed sprightly black & white bird.Short dark beak,black legs,black tail with white outer feathers.white belly.Wagging its tail when standing still or dashing around in search of food amongs the outdoor restaurant tables.

You could go to subspecies with this, as the black back shows it to be one of ours, Motacilla alba yarrellii. Motacilla alba on its own is not wrong, but includes the more continental White Wagtail, Motacilla alba alba.

I did not know which subspecies this was,so stuck to M.alba for my ID.

Had a look at your flicker link and the insect photos are absolutely amazing.Definately lots of talent,lots of patience and good equipment needed to get results like that!
