Corn Mint (Mentha arvensis)
Corn Mint (Mentha arvensis) and Water Mint (Mentha aquatica)
Description:

Growing at the edge of a freshwater loch. Distinct minty smell when leaves crushed. Whorls of flowers in leaf axils indicates Corn Mint. Photo 2 gives a comparison with Water Mint on the right.
