This mushroom had a dark brown cap varied between 5-15cm the gills were white, although when bruised started showing red as you can start to see on the pic.
We initially have identified it as a charcoal burner as there were others round that had looked as if someone had burnt them. but we could be wrong.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
