Found a cluster of these under a small larch in my local park

Identifications

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

This looks like a dried up S luteus to me even though it looks to have dark gills.

I hadn't considered Slippery

I hadn't considered Slippery Jack but the brown spots above the remnants of the ring actually fit for S Luteus. I'm indebted, Flaxton - many thanks.
