Honey fungus or Sulphur tuft?

Fungus 1
Fungus 2

I had these down as Honey Fungus until I looked at a few observations on here and wondered whether Sulphur Tuft is more likely. Emerging in small groups on long-dead broadleaf timber (probably Sweet Chestnut). The whole area is riddled with Honey Fungus, but these look a bit different - no ring on the stem for sure. Comments?

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
