Description:

On granite. Stems fibrous, 3-5cm, with 4-5mm leaves at the stem ends. Needle-like when dry, fine short brown terminal point. Leaves fairly robust, shaped like an ancient Greek sword. Is it possible to get this to species. I wondered from the key if it is juniperinum

Tips

OK, thank you all. I've just got the sample out of the envelope and had another look. The leaf tips of the plants I have are all ruddy brown.
