Very unusual looking JH. Have you ruled out a 2nd gen. (unusual I know) Ruddy, or don't you have them in your part of the country?
After writing the above, I remembered the single apical streak! DOH!
I know its unusual, its one of 2 intriguing ones I got that evening. This species seems to have endless variability.
I'd need to check the status of Ruddy here, I think its a moorland species but I know I havent recorded it. The above is definitely JH as you agree, it just varies a lot- I thought this one was particularly nice, quite rusty coloured.
