I see no yellow hairs on the pronotum, and the hind tibia (last image) is dead straight. N. investigator, I think.
The hind tibia seem to straight for vespillo as Mydaea says. Investigator seem more likely, lack of yellow hairs too.
I troubled over this one and am glad that the two previous obs spotted this
investigator has dark reddish tips on antennae. Other features include the absence of thorax hair and straight tibias on the hind legs. It has three abdominal segments protruding beyond the elytra. Only posterior (Bottom) orange band is broken on the mid line where the elytra join in this species.
