Observed: 8th June 2013 By: patricklaurie
hebridean reed

A tall, hollow reed like a drinking straw with bands of little vertical black and yellow stripes every few inches. Produced numerous branches which fan out like a miniature tree. Growing as happily out of standing water as from wet ground.
