Change of mind after comments renamed to Grey seals thaks for your help
Spotted these seals sun bathing near Billingham beck which runs into the river Tees near Newport bridge Middlesbrough, they are about 7 miles from the coast as the crow flies and about 10 miles by river.
They do go up another mile or so up the Tees to the Tees barrage

Mixed group of grey and common

The 3 darkest seals are all greys. The 2 lolling on their sides I'm not sure about, but at least 4 (animals 1, 2, 5 and 6 going left to right) are common seals (they don't always 'banana'). So will agree with both IDs.
