Growing in a hedge of mixed holly, oak, beech and hawthorn. As well as a few other plants. It is hard to see which plant this has grown on as the hedge is thick and prickly. The fruit is very hard and woody. This is the first year I've seen these in this hedge. About 1.5 times the size of a golf ball. Inside looks a bit like an apple, but loads of seeds.
