Creeping Thistle

What a plant! Simply fantastically attractive to a variety of insects. The place to find Conopid flies through August and into September, but great for all sorts. Not much still flowering, though, round here this year, after a hot early summer.

Yes, take a look at all the species that interact with it in the interactions carousel. Quite impressive!

On the other hand creeping thistle can be a real pain in pastures, in more senses than one!
