Growing in peak on a path under oaks. The scale in picture 2 is in mm.
Smell and taste mild, mushroomy. Cap peeled when torn, did not feel sticky. Stipe and gills bright white.
No identification made yet.

Might this be R.vesca? In my day we ate all we could find.

Obviously we cannot be certain from a photo.
But so were brunneoviolacea and cyanoxantha.
Really not sure: hoping for a positive identification here.
