Description:

Interesting to see something growing on such poor soil (essentially rock).
Had a couple of little rings of leaves on stalks (on shown in the final image). Perhaps a form of vegetative expansion - like spider plants do?

Triglochin maritima and Plantago maritima ...

... are easy enough to distinguish when growing side by side, but I don't find them so easy in isolation.
