... the size of the flowers is often enough to identify the species, though I continue to check the bracteoles for verification, but that doesn't work with photographs.
Useful comments; I'll try to take note of this difference in the future.
The bracts are clearly enough visible on the unopened flowers towards the top of the picture to tell the species apart.
