This bird has two features which are making me think it could actually be a juv Nightingale. It has long pale legs and the tail seems a bit too long and broad for Robin.
Just my opinion of course but an interesting bird nonetheless.
I can see what you mean, but I am pretty sure, from the colour and general appearance, that this is a juvenile Robin (which is far more likely at this late time of year at the location, presumably). Legs,incidentally, are long in Robin, too.
One thing we can be quite sure of is that it is not a Dunnock! ;)

Robin most likely as you say.
I saw this 'Dunnock' again yesterday and it was giving an alarm call imitation just like a Robin - strange things birds.
