Is this a spotted or common redshank? It was on it's own at Keyhaven marshes.

The Spotted Redshank has longer legs and a longer and more slender bill than the Common Redshank.

Wonderful shots showing how elegant and graceful this species is - makes Common Redshank positively lumpen in comparison.
The strong white supercilium stripes (in winter) are also helpful - much more noticeable than those Common Redshank - the top left picture shows these really well.
