Furry white mushroom

A large mushroom (at least 10cm across), growing from a dead (fallen) tree in dense deciduous woodland. The domed white cap entirely covered in fine tufty hairs, the gills palest beige, the stalk white.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
