S159 Neighbourhood Nature - course complete

A bright yellow mound found on the bark of a scots pine tree. About 5cm in diameter and 2cm high. At about 2m high on the trunk of a tree that was almost dead, with significant decay to the bark nearby. On the Roaches nature reserve in north Staffordshire.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
