Black Poplar leaf137
Description:

The two trees are growing close together and so may not be planted. they have drooping branches and do not have glands at the junction of the leaf and stalk. There are many rather poor Lombardy poplars in the vicinity, but the black poplars seem to be much older. Can anyone take a look before the leaves fall for a proper identification.
