The fruit looks like curled but I think I can see it has more than one wart this could be ssp. littoreus.
Hi Duxbury Rambler, many thanks for your feedback. I noticed the reference to warts in "Rose", but I'm afraid that I didn't know what to look for or where. Is there a reference that you are aware of that will enlighten me? John
Don't know if this the right way to point to another ID but if it works The fruit in my palm shows the blister like warts.
