Not unlike a song thrush.
Ours were MUCH darker than this and FAR less speckled.
An interesting season, two nesting pairs in the same territory - incredibly confusing for us (and specially so for the two females).
It got to the stage that I was wondering about promiscuity.
Now 7 birds trying NOT to share garden food!

Thrush

Had a young bird very similarly marked to this in the garden at first light this morning. Peering through the gloom I momentarily thought I had a thrush in the garden (Mistle or Song both rare visitors) but of course I did anyway; it’s seeing young birds like this that remind us they are indeed Turdidae.
