small in size, 5-8cm, I would have thought that it was a Red Cracking Bolete, But the pores in the books indicate more towards The Matt Bolete. It was found growing on a bank near a old cart track from days gone by. I didn't cut it as I rarely find boletes of any kind here in Cornwall, It should have turned blue after being cut.
