L. erinus is an annual tropical plant, cultivated. That's why it is not in the book of local plants (just urens). From Wikipedia, it says it doesn't survive frozen temperatures, but this one has been seen in a wood where normaly we have frozen temperature... don't know what to say then
In the UK, which can get cold, Lobelia erinus does survive though I doubt if it lasts long.
... does turn up occasionally as a self-sown annual (though a woodland is not the type of location one expects).
