Formica rufa

I think this is a new site and 10km record (SU34) for F. rufa, as the existing Harewood Forest record is in SU44, so a good find, and should be sent to BWARS. Barrett listed it extinct in Harewood in his large survey pub in 1968, so the new records are very welcome!

I have forwarded the record to BWARS now. Believe it or not I went to the Forest deliberatly to photograph the ants as I knew they were there
