Description:

Common Sorrel (Rumex acetosa) has been eaten by something. My guess is that the culprit is a weevil of some sort: can anyone put a name to it, please?

You might consider one of the

You might consider one of the Pegomya species - this could be a weathered leaf mine. If you could get an example of a leaf and look at it with a light source behind you might see frass or other evidence of internal feeding.
