Small dead animal, possibly a baby mink?

Description:

This animal was found in grassland but close to both woodland and a large lake. Around 20 cm long, except for the tail. I believe it was dead, but it might only have been acting? I never touched it, and I saw no visible signs of injury of disease.

Mink

This is a mink, and some would say its a good photo as the animal is dead! I suspect it's been poisoned from the curled position of the body. Before the death threats fly my way may I say I don't approve of poisoning animals in the wild; it's far too indiscriminate.
