Description:

Can anyone help, please, with an ID for this moss? Growing on the ground. The grass (probably Poa annua) gives an idea of scale.
Edit: Changed to match markwilson's ID. Many thanks.

Rhytidiadelphus

This photo looks right, there are few mosses with such strongly squarrose leaves growing in grass. What is unusual are the capsules which are rather uncommon in this species - I suspect that is where the ID for Funaria may have come from although that plant has broad straight leaves.

Zooming on the photo a little

Zooming on the photo a little bit below mid-height, about 3/4 towards the right, there is a seta without capsule, at the base of which one can guess leaves not unlike those of Funaria... It is a guess and not an identification but it is hte best I could do. I have no idea which species is the one with curled narrow leaves, maybe some kind of Didymodon.
