Description:

8 to 12 inches, alternate paired lanceolate leaves, purple trumpet like flowers. (miniature foxglove-type-thing!). Observed on blanket bog, with variety of sedges, brown mosses, sundew, marsh st johnswort, marsh pennywort, watermint, bog pimpernel, etc

Distribution

Scutellaria minor is very western, but goes as far north as the Outer Hebrides where it is in nearly every hectad.
