Large noctuid moth roosting under house eaves, probably attracted to the lights.
No interactions present.
Pretty sure you're right with Copper Underwing but very difficult to rule out Svensson's with just the upperwing. Perhaps if you have shots of the underside of the hind-wing it might be possible.
