Description:

I've only seen Lesser Earwig a few times, when it's been attracted to my moth trap, as this individual was. They're said to be numerous in manure heaps though!

Manure and beer..........

They're know to fly into pints of beer outside pubs too!

Mmmm

That will impart an interesting flavour on your brew Steve. :p

I finally had my first of these the other day, found under a plant pot in my garden. Placed it on some Ragwort to take some photos and it up an flew off.

Regards Chris...

sampling

Despite many hours of rigorous sampling of pints of beer, I've yet to encounter Lesser Earwig that way - clearly I need to try harder!
