hhmmm...

I don't know whether I'm just too mothed out this evening (seeing moths before the eyes...) but I cannot find this in Townsend and Waring, either under English or Latin name. I'd looked through the whole book before posting it as I thought it would be easy to pick out but I can't even find it with your ID!
Really think its bed time!

It will not be in Waring, Townsend and Lewington as it is a micro moth.

Aaaah! Thank you David! Now why didn't I think of that?! Last night I thought I was going mad! Great little moth though and as is so often the case with this group, wonderful common name.

Thanks to everyone for their help and input on the moths last night - I learnt a lot!
