There isn't a short black

There isn't a short black spur marking on the side of the thorax which Azure has - even females usually. The black mark on the the side of the thorax is often more wedge shaped in common blue. The female azure usually has the segments of the abdomen with more extensive dark markings with "lighter rings" around the junction of the segments whereas the female common blue tends to have "rocket" shaped markings on the top of the segments. The marking on S8 is somewhat triangular in the female common blue.
