Scarce Blue-tailed Damselfly - Ischnura elegans

Two damselflies seen close together by a lily pond. The first one looks like a scare blue-tailed male to me but the second one I am unsure about. Is it the female blue-tailed or another?
Sorry the shots are not great quality.

elegans yes

You have given it the correct scientific name, but elegans is the common Bluetail. They are both elegans, the one on the right one of the female forms, and I suspect in transition hence the odd appearance.
