this "pellet?" was found on the edge of a woodland area, is it a regurgatation?
if so from what animal?
i cannot find a clue from any source

This is a pellet from a bird which has eaten vegetation matter, most probably a game bird, e.g. partridge.
Change this to birds from mammals and you should get confirmation.

immerse pellet in water until broken up.i think i can see a hopper leg in there.see what else is in it.
